Schüco Door ADS 90.SI

The new Schüco ADS 90.SI door series, which includes both an inward-opening, face-fitted door construction and outward-opening version, offers the best possible performance for residential and commercial buildings in terms of future energy and efficiency standards.

Based on the existing Premium Schüco ADS 90 PL.SI front door which has been optimised for the front door market, the range of doors with a basic depth of 90 mm has been extended, in order to be better able to fulfil the requirements of non-residential buildings.

Energy efficiency and thermal insulation play an increasingly important role in newbuild projects and in the renovation of residential and commercial buildings. With the ADS 90.SI door series, Schüco is setting a new low-energy and system standard for aluminium doors. Expanded insulation zones, a continuous centre gasket and a special glazing rebate achieve unbeatable system properties, such as resistance to driving rain up to 300 Pa and Uf values of 1.4 W/m²K. With appropriate triple glazing or a leaf-enclosing infill panel, outstanding Ud values < 1.0 W/m²K can be achieved. Schüco therefore has the thermal insulation standard of tomorrow in its product range today.

The combination of saving energy as a result of the low-energy standard achieved, together with the generation of energy due to the integration of Schüco ProSol TF modules and the use of this energy for one’s own needs (e.g. for the Schüco Door Control System integrated in the leaf frame), means that the vision of energy self-sufficient doors is already areality.

In addition to the focus on energy efficiency, the extension of the range of doors with a basic depth of 90 mm also takes account of commercial project requirements, in particular in terms of the range of files and fittings. As with the pro Schüco ADS HD (heavy duty) door series, this includes the construction of oversized heavy doors, increased durability properties and resistance to repeated opening and closing, as well as normative requirements for ease of access and emergency and escape routes.

The inward-opening, flush-fitted door construction is ideally suited for use as front or side entrance doors, due to its outstanding physical and energy-saving properties.

The tried-and-tested success factors from Schüco Door ADS 90 PL.SI, such as the continuous centre gasket and the use of glazing rebate insulation, have been retained and optimised. This means that the barrel hinge can now be fixed without interrupting the centre gasket level.

A Soft Line design option for the outer frame and glazing bead, as well as the use of leaf-enclosing infills on one side or both sides, also creates additional design freedom.
